Japan See Certified Products

J-MIC

It is a mandatory certification system for wireless devices managed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan, based on the Japanese Radio Law. There are two types of certification: Test Certification and Type Certification. Test Certification is a system that certifies only the model tested for the specific wireless device, and the certification applies only to the single model specified in the certificate. Type Certification is a system where a model is certified through a type test conducted on a sample from products manufactured under the same design and production process. Certification is granted to the model that underwent the type test.
