AiCA-EC Series AC Power EtherCAT Comm. Type 2-Phase Closed Loop Stepper Motor System

The AiCA-EC series closed-loop stepper motors with EtherCAT support offers high compatibility between primary and secondary devices with EtherCAT open protocol. The motor system can control motion of multiple axes simultaneously with 100 Mbps communication speed. The AC powered motor system can maintain higher torque during high speed drive compared to DC type motors and do not require separate switching mode power supplies.

Closed Loop Stepper Motor Control

The stepper motor system offers accurate and precise position control through feedback from the integrated encoder without the hassle of tuning and vibration of conventional servo motors.

EtherCAT Communication Control

The AiC-EC series motor system can control motion of multiple axes simultaneously with 100 Mbps communication speed through EtherCAT. The motor system has completed the conformity test by EtherCAT Technology Group to ensure high compatibility between primary and secondary devices.

AC Power Supply

AC power supply closed loop stepper motor system can maintain higher torque during high speed drive compared to DC type motors. The motors also do not require separate power supplies, allowing more flexible installation options.

    Auto current down mode reduces the electric current when the motor stops (no load) to minimize heat generation.
